We have now based our studio in the LCB Depot, moving here in March 2011. This former bus depot was converted in 1999 by Leicester City Council as part of their creative vision for the development of Leicester’s Cultural Quarter, to revitalise the once run-down area around The Church of St. George.

Offering entertainment venues and accommodation, as well as workspaces for artists, designers and creative businesses, the Cultural Quarter is one of Leicester’s most acclaimed new developments. The area fuses together elements of Leicester’s more traditional architecture with a modern twist to create a cosmopolitan cultural environment. Its public realm is second to none - and the spaces in between are just as important - with integrated specially commissioned contemporary art revealing the area’s rich historic tapestry.

At the heart of Leiceser's Cultural Quarter the Leicester Creative Business Depot seeks to support, stimulate and develope the city's creative industries.

Based on the site of the former Leicester City Bus Depot, this state of the art facility has been designed with flair and imagination, incorporating elements of the old architecture, modern design and integrated public art works.
